Experiments

Sometimes we try to stretch out what can be done with the forms, conventions, and structures of traditional American music by trying on different rhythmic meters, or scales that are found in other parts of the world, or incorporating elements from other kinds of music. The idea is to show how resilient traditional music continues to be, which is a big part of how it stays relevant in the present.
